When you provide SoCal Subliminals with any personal information, such as your credit card number when making a purchase, my server creates an encrypted connection with your browser using SSL encryption. This ensures that no one can read as it is transmitted over the Internet. I never store credit card information during any purchase transaction. After you submit your order through the encrypted connection, my software initiates another encrypted connection to Authorize.net, my credit card clearing service. The encrypted credit card information is "passed through" to Authorize.net and they either approve the transaction and charge your card or they disapprove the transaction.

If you purchase using PayPal and a credit card, PayPal charges our card and sends me the money through your PayPal account. I do not deal with your credit card information in a PayPal transaction.

I retain records of purchases to process your order, notify you of matters that may be of interest and to maintain legal and audit-able financial accounting of my business finances, I maintain these records in electronic form offline and keep them encrypted using Blowfish 448 bit encryption. Your credit card information is never stored in any of my systems as explained above, and only "passes through" in an encrypted form on its way to the clearing service.

I respect your wishes to not receive any email or newsletters from SoCal Subliminals. I publish a bi-monthly newsletter. You must sign up to receive the newsletter, and click on a link sent to you in a verification email to activate your subscription. Sign-up links are on the bottom of each site menu, and on all order receipts sent to customers. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Un-subscription is immediate once you verify your un-subscription through the usual link sent to your subscribing email address. No questions are asked. Newsletter subscription list is kept offline and encrypted when not in use.

I publish the newsletter to inform, enlighten, inspire, and motivate. I carry no paid advertising or affiliate links in the newsletter. The test for publish-ability of content is whether it will be helpful to readers or not. I'm assuming no previous knowledge on the reader's part, so basic as well as advanced information will be included. I'm taking care that the newsletter is not just another jumble of copied stuff from other web sites. Content is original and based on my personal experiences or those of the author. I will be including one or two testimonials in the newsletters because although I don't personally believe that unverifiable testimonials are very credible on a web site, some people have written me expressing an interest in other's experiences and opinions.

I will accept appropriate articles for inclusion in the newsletter. All materials submitted remain the property of the author and by sending the article, author grants me a limited license to publish it in the newsletter with credit given to author. In addition, I'll allow one web site link in any submitted article. Submitter also warrants that materials are their own work and not plagiarized. Merely sending me something that is in the public domain does not count as original material.
