Email addresses collected for the SoCal Subliminals Newsletter are managed by Campaign Monitor, a reputable newsletter mailing management company that is used by companies such as Apple Computer and Ebay. If you unsubscribe, your address is immediately removed from the database by the service and placed on an exclusion list to guard against accidental or malicious re-subscription by you are a third party. We can quickly over-ride this feature if you ever want to subscribe using an address that was previously removed.

We respect your wishes to not receive any email or newsletters from SoCal Subliminals. You must sign up to receive the newsletter, and click on a link sent to you in a verification email to activate your subscription. If you don't sign up, you will never receive any unsolicited e-mail from my site except for order receipts, communications about orders placed, or answers to questions you might ask.

You can sign up by clicking on newsletter sign-up links located on the bottom of each site menu, and on all order receipts sent to customers. You can un-subscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter. The un-subscription feature is an immediate "one click" operation. The verification page has a one-click re-subscription link for use in the event of accidental un-subscription. Unsubscription involves no questions, surveys, "administrative delays" or hassles. It is immediate and final.

Even though the newsletter is an opt-in publication and all recipients have given their prior affirmative assent, the newsletters still conform to the labeling and disclosure requirements of applicable legislation, primarily Public Law 108-187 or the "Can Spam Act of 2003." Other applicable federal legislation that applies is 15 USC sections 7702, 7703, 7704, and 18 USC 47.

What this means is that the newsletter is plainly marked as coming from my company, has a workable return address, and has no misleading or faked information in the delivery headers. We identify the company and give a customer service telephone number and a valid postal address on each issue. Every newsletter states clearly that you can opt out at any time and provides a link at the bottom to do so.

I've gone to great lengths to ensure that the operation of this newsletter is secure and above reproach. It's a lot of work to do this right, but we feel that it is worth it.
