We meet and exceed Federal Disclosure Requirements
Even though the newsletter is an opt-in publication and all recipients have given their prior affirmative assent, the newsletters still conform to the labeling and disclosure requirements of applicable legislation, primarily Public Law 108-187 or the "Can Spam Act of 2003." Other applicable federal legislation that applies is 15 USC sections 7702, 7703, 7704, and 18 USC 47.
What Disclosure Requirements Mean
What this means is that the newsletter is plainly marked as coming from my company, has a workable return address, and has no misleading or faked information in the delivery headers. We identify the company and give a customer service telephone number and a valid postal address on each issue. Every newsletter states clearly that you can opt out at any time and provides a link at the bottom to do so.
I've gone to great lengths to ensure that the operation of this newsletter is secure and above reproach. It's a lot of work to do this right, but we feel that it is worth it. We are confident that the resulting product will benefit many people. We are always open to suggestions, constructive criticism, or ideas.Sincerely,
