Attitudes & Performance Changes in Roller SkatersThe protocol for this SCWL research project was designed by a clinical psychologist, Dr. Donna Capka, with the hypothesis that those subjects using the subliminal suggestion tape (Group A) would report greater improvement in self-concept, attitude and performance over time as compared to those in Group B (conscious suggestion tape) and Group C (white noise relaxation tape). In addition, it was expected that Group A would report less anxiety over time than the other two groups. The script was written by Mr. Stitz who was twice a United States roller skating champion. The results of this study were positive.
